Terms of Service

Marcus (the “Service”) is operated by Paperfoot AI Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”). It lets you talk by voice to “Marcus,” an AI character, at marcusbot.com. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

Marcus is a character from the VRChat community. This site is an independent, affectionate tribute and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by VRChat or the character’s original creators.

Marcus’s replies are generated by AI and are for entertainment only. They can be inaccurate, absurd, or wrong, and are not advice of any kind. Don’t rely on anything Marcus says.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use the Service. If you’re under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian’s permission.

Some features need an account, which you can create with an email and password or with Google. Keep your credentials secure and provide accurate information. You’re responsible for activity under your account.

Talk time is measured in minutes (1 credit = 1 minute). New visitors get a short free trial, and new accounts get a few free minutes. Beyond that, you can buy minutes. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don’t receive or store your card details.

Minutes are a license to access the Service, have no cash value, and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing or pack sizes going forward (existing balances are honored).

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, harassing, or abusive;
• attempt to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits or the free trial;
• resell or misuse the Service or Marcus’s voice; or
• impersonate others or misrepresent the Service.

You can create a link to share a conversation. Anything you choose to share becomes accessible to anyone with that link, so don’t include anything private. We store shared conversations (and their audio) to provide that feature; you can ask us to delete them.

The Service’s software, design, and the Marcus voice model are owned by or licensed to Paperfoot AI. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service. All other rights are reserved.

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paperfoot AI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.
